Rita joined DigiCat in 2024 as a PhD student. She graduated from Técnico in 2022 as a Chemist and started her PhD in Material Engineering in February of 2023 at Técnico.
Rita's research mainly focuses on the production of more sustainable products, such as bioplastics joined with second-generation biomasss with tailored properties using machine learning.
What else? Rita enjoys sleeping in whenever she can, late night with friends playing board games and visiting new places.
