Estêvão Tibúrcio, joined DigiCat in 2024 as a PhD student. He is a Petroleum Engineer by degree and Process Engineer by trade with experience in Oil and Gas industry.
In 2022, while replacing catalyst in a natural gas dehydrator, it was observed chunks of coked catalyst. Coke formation had not been observed in previous catalyst change out. This situation prompted Estêvão to start a research work to build informatic models to predict such type of problems and study catalyst decay.
